Science
Summer is the perfect time for students to explore science - not through a textbook, but through their own natural wonderings and curiosity. The following links take students to a wide array science-based games on topics such as physics, biology, and more. According to the Federation of American Scientists (FAS), "games promote active learning, learning by doing, and learner-centered learning, all of which compel students to become part of the learning process - not just the object of lectures or reading materials" (2011).
